POP Sound

When I drive, once in a while maybe once or twice every 2 month.
When I drop a gear down and floor the gas, I hear this pop sound. Any idea why? 94 GT

what kind of pop and wheres it coming from--- maybe tranny mount?

From the exhaust the sound is coming from, I got stock 8.8 with stock gears. It sounds like a backfire, but not loud. its a little bit less loud than the back fire, and short. Like a little pop, it only happens if I'm driving and then drop gears and raise the RPM, but like I said it only happens like once in a blue moon. I am worried, if something is setting to happen.

I am really thinking this sounds like a backfire...It used to happen on my 91 before I had it tuned...
