Nevermind, the tires look like 26x7.50-15 Sportsman front runners.

I am building a 351w and I don't want to invest any more cash into this 302. I was going to get a pair of AFR 225s but I am going to go with a new hood front end and paint instead. Any idea what TFS head competes with the AFR 225s?
TFS R-Series or High Ports.

Well I removed the spacers, adjusted the clutch where the fork sits, and took out the passenger fender well.
I took it for a drive and the car took right turns like a champ!
but when it comes to left turns she still rubs. Looks like i am going to have to roll the lip.

some pics of the operation

the rims are 15's, Mickey Thompson Sportsman Fronts
26'' x 7.5'' - 15''LT
I tried putting the wheel on without taking them out.........just got a scratched rim. So I just yanked the clips out.

That doesn't make sense. Has the car ever been hit in the front end that you know of? What is the backspace on the wheels? 1 3/4"??

There is your problem. Get that thing put on a frame rack and straighten it out. I'd measure the back space of the wheels too. They should be 1 3/4". Most likely the wheels are not the problem because I think they only offer 2 different backspacings for the 15x3.5" wheel......if that is the size wheel you have. If the wheels are wider than 3.5 than you could have a backspace issue. But if both wheels have the same backspace then the problem has to be something else, like a little tweak in the front end.

wow dude i just got back from giving the car a test drive it works great! It only rubs on semi hard turns i really had to force it to get it to rub. It helped out tons....The cars used to rub on curves on the street.
I was taking a good look at the car to see why it rubs on that side and I noticed that the passangers side tire does sit a little further than the drivers side.

Both brake clips would hit the wheels........I got the wheels for 250 bucks, they came with 2 front runners and 2 15x8s on mt drag radials *about 80% treadlife*. I couldent pass it up
