its the same bolt pattern as a 302 so its gonna bolt right up. driveshaft should be the same length as the stock one. (not 100% sure)

I guess i should of said crossmember... I have a bell housing (157 tooth, the small one) but where the C4 mounts to the chassis. And I hope stock length works, if not ill get a custom aluminum one.

On a fox body you just need to grind off the tack welds on the crossmember tubes and slide the crossmember all the way forward on the tubes. Then reweld it. I'm not sure on a 94 and newer. It isn't real hard to make a custom crossmember and it will be much stronger than the stocker.

Darrell do you know if im going to need a different yoke? I had a T-45 before, and I know that the AODs had a different yoke, but i took my buddies T-5 93 fox body driveshaft and it slid on the tail shaft and fit in my tranny just fine.

Also ill look at my cross member, and ill post a picture if I have a question. thanks!

I do not know for sure if the driveshaft will be the same in a 96+ Mustang. You will have to measure yours. Your yoke is different than the earlier Mustang yokes. 79-95 used a 28 spline yoke on all factory transmissions. 96 and newer manual transmissions used a 31 spline yoke. I think the AOD stayed 28 spline. Are you sure your buddy doesn't have a Tremec TKO? The TKO uses a 31 spline yoke.

Well I should have been more clear... I took his drive shaft and put it in my C4 tail shaft. So 28 spline would make sense... Also makes since that if you need a Automatic Aluminum driveshaft for a 96-04 car, you have to swap the yokes out of the old one. I will have to see what the explorer yoke is, I have a spare driveshaft out of an explorer.

And maybe somebody could measure the length of a Fox driveshaft for me, or a 94/95 driveshaft. And then I could get mine cut... or I can get my aluminum one I have cut and rebalanced...

BTW I have not looked at the Crossmember from my car. I went and put my buddies T5 back in and put in a new fuel pump for him and helped him put new fuel rails on his 93 last night instead...
