Is this worth it?

is this transmission worth what they are asking for it?

I found it on ebay but they wont let me post the link so i will copy any paste the details

* Transbrake valve body
* Full manual shift
* Reverse shift pattern (P-R-N-1-2-3)
* Rollerized gearset
* Hardened input shaft
* Reinforced forward drum
* Billet servo
* Now with a deep aluminum pan
* High performance frictions
* Rated to 800 HP
* Dyno tested prior to shipment
* 6 month warranty
* FREE 9.5" C-4 converter that we'll custom stall anywhere you want it. Converter is built with anti balloon plates, fully furnace brazed fins, and Torrington bearings (additional converter upgrades are available upon request). We will need to know the size of your flexplate (157T or 164T) in order to build the correct converter. ***Please note that this converter is for a SMALL BLOCK FORD ONLY with a flexplate that has the stock style dish.*** If you have a big block or the flat style flexplate, please add $150 to your payment and we'll build you a converter with a 1 pc forged front cover.

Buy it now for US $1,280.00 and after shipping the end price will be around 1,600.00

thats a redneck transmission. you will LOVE it. i have literally read nothing bad about them EVER. buy it and rip trough the gears. my friend goes 9.2@140 all day with that tranny and it has never skipped a beat.buy it. i am goin to get one this summer

Yeah? thanks a lot guys for the responses. I was doubting it kinda because the price is kinda steep but if it performs as you say it does then i am buying it xD

yeah really. also have a friend with a turbo sn95 car with one. you dont need to doubt at all. the price is NOTHING compared to the others (PA, Art Car etc) this is the best deal your gonna find.

I would talk to dan his name is silverfox over at Click Click Racing about a transmission. He is the king of AOD and AODE's he builds them to hold 700-1000 HP all day long. He is a great guy and has great prices. Just see what he says he can do your trans for or what one like you described here would cost from him.
