Cherry Bomb Turbos vs FlowMaster Super 44's.

I'd like to get something a bit more quite on my car, I think it has FlowMaster 40's on it now but I'm not sure so what would be quieter, Cherry Bomb Turbos or FM Super 44's. Still would like the low rumble but I'd like the in cabin noise gone so I can hear myself think,LOL. Thanks.

Mac mufflers. Flowmasters are notorious for their "drone". No need to find something quieter. Just switch to a different chambered muffler. I run Mac flowpaths dumped at the axle and there isn't as much drone as my old fox running flow 40's with tailpipes! I put tailpipes on teh Mac's and I could barely hear the exhaust inside the car.

I've got Dynomax SuperTurbo's, and they sound great. However, there IS a slight drone in the cabin, but it isn't like a Flowmaster.

cherrybomb turbos are junk and are extremely quiet, like chris said put some mac muffs on there and you will barely be able to hear it in the car and it will sound better than flows

Not sure if I can get Mac Mufflers at work or if my shop that does my exhaust work can get em'. So FlowMaster is pretty much out then, what about Magnaflow, are they pretty decent for a quite cabin? The main thing that's killing me is the 13" length that the muffler will have to be in order to fit. If it wasn't for that I'd go FlowMaster 50's since they're pretty quite but still give a good exhaust note. I'm pretty sure that a Turbo muffler will be quieter in cabin then a chambered muffler like the 40 FlowMaster so I'll probably just look for a quality 2.5" Turbo muffler to put onto it. Thanks for the help.

Junk? compared to what or in what way.
Junk and quiet or junk because they are quiet?
Not arguing, I'm looking for something quiet as well and comparing.

I've heard a few people running the DynoMax super turbo with good results.

cherrybomb turbos are junk because they are exteremely cheap and the cases blow apart on anything other that a honda my buddy tried em once the car sounded a tiny bit louder than stock and a week later it was loud as hell because both of the cases had blown apart

magnapaks by magnaflow are pretty sweet. They are loud, but don't drone like flowmasters. They are only loud when you hit the loud pedal, not loud all the time.

The reason you don't see mustangs with cherry bombs is because they sound like shit and are cheap as shit compared to the rest.

I haven't installed it yet but I bought a Dynomax Ultra Flo catback and according to what I have heard here and read on the internet, they have a great sound when you get on it but are more quiet when you are at cruising speed. Reviews are good and peoples seem to like them.

As far as Cherry Bombs go it's the TURBO not the Glasspack. I had a set of Thrush Glasspacks on my first 'Stang, a '66, 289cid and only had turndowns under the car. It was LOUD. I really think I'm going to see what kind of Turbo mufflers they've got. Chamber mufflers like the FlowMaster 40 and 44 have just too much cabin noise for me. Anyway, I"m off to the shop in about 30 miniutes, wish me luck in pickin' something decent.
