sn95 door panels in a fox body

I have an 88 mustang and i want to put the 94-98 door panels in it. Does any one know of anyone who has done this?

I havent heard of anyone doing this but it seems like they wouldnt fit right. The SN95 panels have a spot on the upper, most forward section (right behind the side mirror) that matches up with the dash. It seems that in theory they would never line up with anything, at least not without a lot of customizing.

if the door handles matched up it would be worth a little reshaping around the dash...if any one has an sn95 door panel and a foxbody it would be cool to see it up against it to se how they aligned...becoase the foxbody door panels are so plain and flat it looks cheep

The problem I would have with that is that Im 6'3 265 lbs and a Fox is already small enough for me. Look at where that dash puts the door handles. It is so much more bulky than the regular fox dash that it takes up all the leg room.

these is just my opinion . i belive that the fox body mustangs are fast becoming collectibles ,specially the 79 to 93.Changing out the interior could actually take away from the car . I own 2 fox mustangs and i have every original part that the car came with put away. Really it is just a mater of opinion and what u like, bur def. something to consider before doing a major change like that.

Yeah I have had four too. Unfortunately two of them are now in the junk yard. I chalked those up to inexperience with real power. Take a little better care of how I drive now. Insurance is so damn costly these days.
