Interm. Cutting out!!

The past few times I have taken my car out it has been doing something weird. While just cruising along the car will cut-out for like a quick second. Then sometimes it will cut out for like 5-7 seconds. When it cuts out for the longer period it gives me just enough time to react and give it some gas to see if it responds. It does not do anything like buck or anything just the bogging sound cuz I am giving it more air. I freekin hate problems like this!! One thing I am kinda maybe pointing towards is the ignition module on my Msd dist. It is new I only have like 2500-3k on the new motor. Although my 6AL box has been in the car since I bought it like 7yrs ago and I don't know how long B4 that it was purchased? Anyway I have herd that the ignition modules that come on the Msd dizzies are not that good? I have never had a problem with one myself. What are the symptoms that go along with a faulty module and Msd box? Any other ideas are of course welcomed.. Thanks ..

I have heard Darrel say something about the msd modules going out. How old is your fuel pump.

I have actually herd it from a few sources but I have never had 1 fail. I have a 255 in tank and an Anderson Ford inline booster pump. The car could run on either pump by itself if need b but u never no. Don't think it's that. I have never actually had a pump fail in any of my cars but I can tell u that since this has been happening I don't think it has happened when I lay into it. Of course now that I mentioned it it's gonna happen now!!! Lol...

Think it could be the pip? That would suck because I was hoping to get a msd distributer to fix my problem. Mine will not respond when I try to give it gas though. And it only does it on warm days when I drive on the highway longer than 6 miles. I have to let it cool for around 30 minuets and do it all over again. Kinda makes me want to get a new ecc but then I would be just throwing parts at it.

I would run the codes when It dies but theres something about hanging your ass out on the highway with my head under the hood I dont like.

bad ground? ignition failing because of it? the 6AL is just a rev limiter...it wouldnt kill your motor, check the connection on your dizz and have your coil tested...its not fuel, usually a fuel pump doesnt "go out" over time, let me rephrase, it usually doesnt work, not work, work, not work, it usually just stops, plus you have a secondary piggybacking a 255...do wires and check coil.
