Does his car run 11.50 at 120 n/a as posted in his sig? if so than a small shot will not shave 1.5 secs off a 11.5

it does... by small I want to say it was 125 to 150... for such a large motor he's got room to grow. Its a nitrous cam, I knocked his setup before I knew, but now we get along and I was wrong the whole time. The car does work.

mines a 351, the name is old

its makes a little bit more than 350. thats fine, to each his own.

yes it does, your right it should shave off 1.7-8ish seconds when i put some more timing in it and put the race gas in.

So a 150 shot should take a 11.5 car to 9.8-9.7?

i am assuming those numbers since on pump gas it went 10.1 at 131, taking out 7 degrees of timing. when i pull 2 degrees out (whats recommended) and put the C16 in we will see what it will do. thank what you want though, ignorance makes the world go round

Ive been around a while, and never seen gains like that, in that ET range, with a 150 shot. Its not ignorance. Hell, thro a 150 2nd stage on, and shave it down to about 8.0

stubborn, whatever you wanna call it. a lack of evidence for something is not a good reason to believe it cant happen, or hasnt, for this matter. for example. my friend with a 377 on the 150 runs a 9.2@140 all day long.

i am not estimating HP numbers, merely track time. 5 degrees is quite a bit

Im not doubting the ET's and stuff, its the gains from a 150 shot I'm dubious of.

Thats about how much HP it would take to make the ET reduction you stated, from 5 deg.

Dont do anything on my account. I'ma leave it like this, if you make the gains you claim, its prolly because of some other factor than the addition of a 150 shot, maybe the converter loosened up with the xtra hp or somthing, idk, just know in the 12yrs of exp I have your the first time Ive heard a claim like that. if its true, consider yourself the best scenereo out of a 150 shot ever.

of course it is, it has a really tight converter, cam made for the spray and 3:55 gears. why do you think it goes so slow on the motor?
