DD bullitts on a fox
i am getting ready to switch wheels and a buddy of mine with a 91 gt wants my wheels and tires. they are 17x9 in the front with a 275/40/17 and the rear are 17x10.5 with a 315/35/17. with these fit on his car or will he have issues with the front rubbing on lock? or maybe does he need to roll the inner fenders? the car is not lowered and he has no tailpipes if it helps.

yeah i got 255/40/17s in the front and they barely scrub when i turn to wide so im sure he'll have a big problem with those, not to mention if he did put them on they wouldn't look too attractive...

With you being a mustang owner, you should never sell your bullits to be put on a fox. You have just learned rule #12339998984903...Just kidding man. If the guy can get them to work and he likes them. then it is his deal. I personally would think the bullits would look ugly on a fox, but it is not my decision.
Sell your wheels to another modular guy where you know they will fit and look good at the same time. Just my opinion though |

It can be done but he'll have to roll the fender and make some other modifications. The s197 wheels fit better due to the offset. I've seen bullitts on a fox and it looked good, but it was a notchback. I know you have to do some modifications to make them work, maybe even run a a rear end that has been shortened. I remember there was a muscle mustangs feature car with wheels this size or maybe a tad bigger and thats what he had to do. It can be done but it's going to cost some coin to make it work right. Good Luck....
Btw, do what tony_90fox said, sell em to another person with a car like yours.....much easier imo |
