So, let me get this straight..............


I Have a 5.0, with all the smog pump removed. With that part gone, I no longer need the EGR?

you dont need the egr anyway

egr has nothing to do with the smog pump.. the smog pump has to do with the stock cats on the h pipe and connects to the back of both your heads as well.

egr functions when at cruising speeds or a same speed for a while.. it recirculates spent fuel to help lessen emissions and increase mpg but it also helps to heat soak your intake and yes you can just unplug the egr, remove it and block it off on the spacer without any check engine lights
