Performance Automatic

Dynamic Racing Transmissions

Most of the transmissions I use are PA but I have used a couple Dynamics too.

Summit is a PA dealer. Performance Automatic, Automatic Transmissions - summitracing.com

Summit also sells a full line of parts in case you want to put the transmission together yourself. FORD, Performance Automatic, Transmissions, Drivetrain - summitracing.com

Hey that's great man do you have aim so i can talk to you about your parts etc I would appreciate it so much. or if u can list them here please. How much was every thing i believe im pushing 400 rwhp max so i don't need any thing to spectacular but in case i do continue to build my motor it couldn't hurt.

I don't buy no name junk. I don't buy something because its cheaper than the rest. I do the job right the first time so I don't have to do it again. Does that answer your question?

I see your point of view but I don't pay for a "name" i pay for the way the product performs.

I agree with Darrel On this one... Build it ONCE and build it right... after going through parts like no other, I have learned to be patient and not rush things. If that means im saving for another two months then so be it... but on something like a Tranny, I would not throw no name crap in there and expect to last a few seasons...

Normally i would agree too but after investigating redneck performance online using google and many forums it is actually a very good transmission producer only down sides i have read are a few people say they eat up their converters in about 2 seasons but all of the people who said that had a 5000 stall... I also believe tho that the name doesn't make the performance maybe they are a small company that is actually very very good but is over looked because they havent been around as long as the "big guys". Who knows...

You aren't paying for a name, this isn't clothing. You are paying for quality. But its your car, do what you want with it...

To be fully honest i cannot really afford the good stuff and im not making enough power to tear up a decent c4 so i think the redneck will do me good.

or i may buy this c4 in nc but it is average c4 with a rebuild kit. no transbrake or manual valvebody. but it could be good as a temp till i get enough cash to buy some thing prettier =)

I am a highschool kid that works 24 hours a week.... I just saved up long enough to buy the parts.... after going through two motors last season and breaking shit, I have learned to be patient and do it right the first time...

And i will only make mid 300s on motor with the motor i have now, but i put all the good parts in it for later. no use in building twice.

I hear ya man and believe me i have been so patient with this car ive had it for 2 years have never actually driven it properly sept with a blown c4 that wouldnt shift. I have my friends with there cars and its really hard for me while my mustang sits in my garage collecting dust over a transmission.

I am in no real rush i would just like it to be drive able while i get the money to do it right, kills me to see it sit. I have no problem doing it twice, i love working on my stang its like my passion lol

Then build your own. Now would be a good time to learn if you have the desire.
