map sensor wasn't working

earlier i was messing with my car cause i thought i had a bad tps sensor but i pulled up my map sensor cause it was hanging and it was split open, so i turned on the car and unplugged it and it didn't make a difference. So i guess i need a new map sensor?

Your map sensor is split open? I think that is pretty self explanatory....
