need info in a Navi motor put in a fox body?


my body picked up a navi motor with k memeber and trans for 1k yesterday and he wants to know what else does he need to put it in his 91 gt?

damn hell of a find how many miles does it have on it? i'm assuming it's a mustang k member, i hope atleast. depends on if your going EFI or your going to slap a carb on it

Here is a write up about a buddys 79 stang that he put a navigator motor in. My car was in the same shop & I was around the shop quite a bit back when he was building this car, so I got to watch it progress as he did an awesome job on it making sure it was done the right way with the right parts & wasn't taking any cheap shortcuts. This car ran even stronger than alot of people thought it would, low 12s on motor & 10.80 on 150hp shot.

Navi motors stock are like 250HP/350TQ right? +1 on the cool factor but not much on the bang for the buck.

its a good place to start though. there was a yellow turbo coupe in alot of magazines with a navigator motor in it. ill try to find it

actually they are 300hp and 345ish ft lbs

motors are asking for a turbo with the dohc set up.

the kmember will just bolt right up, trans cross member will prob have to be moved, but the foxs can me made adjustable by knockin the spot welds off

yup i work with him lol
he was gonna put it in his brothers 351 that he bought lol
and he is tryin to put this navi motor in but he doesn no where to buy the
wiring harness at and computer for it
