hey, if i may, take my advise, dont get the 17x9....they are too wide and the tires WILL rub....only a little and when you turn......get the 17x8.5, this is what the 93 cobras ran with and from what ive researched, they wont rub a bit........but then again i also unknowningly lowered my car about 1/2" to a full inch.....

mine rub hard just when i have it at knock......but its mostly from being lowered....and im not going to put the factory suspention back on it either.....im kinda getting to like it lower a bit.....eventually im wanting to do a 5 lug conv with bigger brakes....then ill buy the 17x8.5 or 18x8.5, not sure which yet but with due time.....

Thats where I got my wheels from, except mine are black... If you're worried about rubbing in front just have them narrowed, like I did LOL. Weldcraft Wheels Wheel Widening Wheel Repairs Wheel Restoration, if you're interested mine's on the bottom left.

i like the car man looks good with the black wheels but i do not think i am going to get mine narrowed i think they will be ok the way they are but i also heard something about them not fitting over the grease cap in the front the center cap will not snap on with out some modification like knocking down the cap a little did you have these problems

umm its not all about how wide the wheel is, as you insinuated at the end of your comment. i had 17x9's and they never rubbed. get a 235 tire and you will be fine. and listen to the right people.

no my tires dont rub on the fender, they rub on the ground effect on the front...if that wasnt there, they may not rub, however im not taking it off just so it wont rub....but i will have to get new pieces after i get new wheels and tires....

Yeah, My front center caps don't fit over that grease fitting/ dust cap... I though about flattening it out with a hammer but never did, I guess I'm under the assumtion that maybe if we can peice together front and rear brake kits from other cars.... maybe there's a shorter cover out there, somewhere? But yeah I just didn't put on the center caps is all.

Nice looking rims. I might dump my Draglights since the passenger's side rear is out of round anyway. I'd like something in a 15" though because I just got new tires in that size. I'd need 15"x4" front and 15x8" rear in the 4 lug pattern.
