Quality fiberglass hoods

Hey guys,

has anyone dealt with this guy on ebay for hoods?

eBay Motors: Fiberglass 3" Cobra R Bolt-on Mustang Hood 87-93 (item 350188556428 end time Apr-15-09 20:38:52 PDT)

I'm looking for a new fiberglass hood shipped for a reasonable price. but i dont want to buy a piece of junk ya know?

sometimes you get what you pay for and i was wondering if anyone knows the quality of these things...

I don't have the money to drop on a cervini's hood...

That is Champions Fiberglass hoods. They are not worth the hassle, unless it is going on a drag car. I have one, it fits like pure shit. They have a website but I don't remember the name of it. I'd have to say pass on their products.

You get what you pay for, especially with fiberglass. Cheap (or reasonably priced) = junk.

Do you remember, and or, know if they are still in business. Cincinnati Composites, I bought a hood from them in 95, and it was great fit and finish, it was cheap too.

ha yeah I totally agree.. with hoods you get what you pay for. Every fiber glass hood requires some type of prep before paint. The higher end ones require allot less where as the super cheap ones require tons of work. To the point that after all said and done you could have had a higher end one.

Me im not a big hood kind of guy.. I put the stock hood back on my turbo car and just sold my cervini's cobra r hood to a local guy real cheap to get it the hell out of my garage.
