A predicament
My dad has a 89 lx with a crown vic 5.0 swap in it. Its not running and we haven't heard it running thanks to the tards that got knife happy under the hood. It has an AOD tranny in it and my dad wants a c4. He wants to build a drag car first and doesn't care much about the appearance for that but would like to put it on the street after some money rolls in.
Heres the situation. We found 2 foxes for sale together for 900 dollars. One has a running v8 in it and obviously all the wiring needed to swap it into our mustang. The other has a v6 in it that we didn't hear run. We want the windshield, seats, the hatch, and possibly the c4. The owner said it didn't have any tranny fluid and wouldn't shift(a little odd). The bodies on both cars are near perfect. If the tranny is bad in it which it most likely is, would this be worth it for the windshield, wiring, motor, the hatch, and other minor visual do dads? Then part or sale the rest of the car? I'm near positive the wiring from a 4 eyed would work for my dads 89 but just to make me feel better someone tell me.
