Question

How to stop the hop?!?!

Well I finally got my car running and driving!!!! Should be inspected and on the road legally by the end of the week!

The one problem I have is wheel hop in the rear. I have an 8.8 with 3.73's and I installed summit control arms and 50/50 shocks.

I have a new set of ebiach drag launch springs I'm going to install this week and the tires that are on the car are old and stiff so they will be replaced as well. I'm hoping between putting these new springs and tires on my problem will go away, but it is wishful thinking because the hop is pretty bad right now.....

My question is what you guys have done and what products you have purchased to fix the issue, I'm sure I'm not the first person to run into this.....

If you guys need me to answer any questions on my car just ask ;

Thanks in advance everyone!

Was the car ever in an accident that you know of? Were the shocks new? When you say control arms are you talking uppers, lowers or both?

the car was never in a bad accident or anything like that... The summit control arms are upper and lower and they are not cheap crap, summit just puts their name on them, I belive steeda makes them. Summit SUM-790000B-W - Summit Racing Street & Strip® Upper and Lower Control Arms

The 50/50 shocks are new.

Try pulling off the quad shocks. My fox has just some lcas and it never hops. Just spins all day though.

Strange. Very strange. Are the quad shocks still on it? If so try taking them off like flattusmaximus said.
