Visibility isn't an issue for me at all. I don't have any pics of the inside looking out. But here is a couple of pics of mine. 4" Cowl Hood

Visibility isn't a problem unless you're a midget. Here are some pictures of a 4" Cervini's cowl hood on my 91 GT.

Cooling. I drove the car all over on the street. The transmission didn't want to stay cool on the highway so I moved the trans cooler to that location and bored some holes. Worked great.

For the record, that car was the only car I ever installed drag springs in which is why it sits like a 4x4 in the last two pictures. The car performed worse with the drag springs than it did with the stock GT springs.

An old Art Carr C4 that I had since the early 90s. Along with a 5500 stall converter...

i'm only 5' 10 and i used to have an h.o fibertrends 5 inch cowl on my 88 ' vert and i LOVED it . i've had a couple of 4 inch hoods too , never any problems seeing where i was going . Cervinis and H.O. Fibertrends make the best fiberglass hoods IMO ( i've had lots of hoods from many different manufacturers so i'm not just repeating heresay , i'm speaking from experience )

Cervini's makes nice products. The undersides are finished and smooth and everything fits pretty good.

As far as vision goes, a cowl hood is nothing like the old 8" high snorkel scoops people used to run. You would have to be a midget to have any vision obstruction. My hood on my black notchback was a 6" Glastek cowl and I had no problems seeing in front of me.
