ready to set my fox on fire!
ok guys heres what its doing, i start her up she doesnt want to idle, but will stay barely alive at around 500 rpm, sometimes when i get on it , it will backfire through the intake. timeing is set at 12 degrees so i can run 89 octane. whats my problem? its got a cobra intake bbk 70 mm tb and 76 mm mass air meter. f cam and stock everything else. Im dieing to get her runnning good again. please help. do the comps go bad in these ? could that be why she doesnt want to run?

If you unplug the mass air meter does it run better? how old is the gas?
I'd try the diagnostic test first and look up the error codes.. simplest way to get to the source without throwing money at it. |

![]() ya if i unplug the mass air it runs smoother, but when i go to drive it with it unplugged it buck jumps really bad. |
