Hard shifting into 2nd and 3rd

I just replaced my clutch cable and quadrant, this was about 3 weeks. The car shifted and drove fine after that. But lately it has been very hard to get the car into 2nd and 3rd gear. It gets harder to shift the longer i drive the car for. Anyone know what this could be?

I would definitely check the adjustment. The cable may have stretched now that it has been used a bit.
