Drag Radial car.. with pictures

This is not the Turbo drag radial car that I posted video of but this is my buddy's other stock suspension nitrous drag radial car. We went racing Saturday night for our local NHRA points night. We both made it to the third round before we got eliminated.

Thought I would take a few pictures of the car and post them for you. Once the motor is done in the blue turbo car, I will post those pictures that some of you have asked for....

Very nice set up. Most guys wont show there sets ups that close but thanks for the great pics, the car looks beautiful!

I'm sure he meant to say stock style.....

What kind of time did yall get out of it? The drag radial class has been getting crazy over the last couple of years.

What kind of valve covers are those? I've been looking for some Fab covers like those but can't seem to find anything besides cheap ones that like to leak.

Thanks... This is my car, the red car above is my buddy's car. This is the cat that I'm rebuilding the motor for now. And I agree about the trim around the windows, I catch hell for it all the time by everyone. It was painted when I bought it and once I get the motor back in I will be working on the trim. It is MY first ever mustang so I am learning and doing it along the way. I have only had it a short time and it is already come a long way since then.

This was it when I first bought it.

This is it before I pulled the motor and blew the tranny.

He broke out at a 7.82 in the 1/8th on just motor, no spray that night. He didnt have time to fill the bottles. That car runs so good now but wait till the new motor is done in the turbo car, that thing is insane.. My other buddy who does all our fabrication and built my buddy"s Pro car is building a 1991 coupe drag radial car with a 91mm turbo. I will stop by his house this week and take some photos while it's still on jacks so you can see the rear end. It's all coil over and looks hot!

DARRELL; I will call him tomorrow and let you know what brand, they have nice thick flanges on them and never leak.

On nitrous the car ran a 5.74 @128mph in the 1/8th . The fastest the car has run was 8.44 @173 in the 1/4..

Sorry my time was off, it ran 5.90 th othe night on just motor and he broke out.

Darrell; He couldnt remeber if those were Steff's on this car or those are what he had on his Pro car.. He'll let me know tonight..

He said the fabricated Moroso work really good also.
