Thumbs down

belt size

ok, there never seems to be a correct answer to this one.
stock 89 engine,
removed smog pump and AC. left the power stearing pump down low where it was origonaly with the AC.
What is the correct belt size needed now without the Smog and AC. and not moving the Power stearing pump.
Thanks guys

You can't run it like that without moving the pump up like on a non-A/C car. The belt will make contact with itself at the top of the water pump. If you get rid of the power steering you can use a 443K6 belt and run it over the opposite side of the tensioner and use the tensioner as an idler instead of a tensioner. It will definitely not work the way you are trying to do it.
