Nitrous plate....

I was just wondering if a plate system is worth it compared to a kit that just installs into your intake(before T.B.)? Both would be wet kits... has anyone run one or the other? Pro's Con's?

i have a throttle body spray bar kit. It's like a one inch throttle body spacer with nitrous bars in it. It's from nitrous works I've used like close to 30 bottles through it with no problems

Im running a plate kit on my cobra intake and havent had a single issue...

* Knocks on wood *

But I would definitally go with either an intake plate ( preferably ) or throttle body plate system over taking the elbow to plumb the nitrous.

Hey Jack, long time. Yeah I'm just trying to see if the price is worth the outcome? I plan on having it tuned for the shot either way, so.... yeah. Just trying to see if the plate system is worth it or not.

Do yourself a favor and get a dry kit, preferably the NOS-05115-ii kit. Wet kits on EFI intakes are asking for trouble unless you get a plate kit that goes between the upper and lower intakes. Anybody that tells you a dry kit is unsafe or makes less horsepower than a wet kit is an idiot and has no idea what they are talking about so disregard what they say. Oh, and always remember you get what you pay for.

So Trick Flow offers a plate system, that would be ok because it goes between the upper and lower manifold? I guess it doesn't have to be TF, just as long as it's a wet plate system it's ok? Thanks for your advice, once I run the car with the new rear-end I'll decide then weather or not it's something I want to spend money on. The car might go just fine and I wont have to worry about a power adder until whenever.

Something like this kit would be ok. Trick Flow Specialties TFS-N5150 - Trick Flow® TFX (TM) Nitrous Systems

I'd like to but I'll probably be working. My job is pretty demanding.

nitrous plate with single plane intake for best results. If used with a duel plane nitrous can get trapped in the intake and cause a nitrous explosion .

He has EFI.......

Either way for best results a fogger system is optimal but not always in the budget.

No, you have an EFI intake. What he posted has nothing to do with your combination.

I'll try to get down to GLD sometime this year. I'll let you know when I do.

Sorry I dont have pics, there really isnt much to see except for some noids sitting above my fuel rails... Im running 125 shot as of now. Im not tuned for it ( like a dyno or chip ), I just retarded the shit out of my timing.

Darrells right about the dry kit, As long as you add more fuel to compensate your golden, after all thats all your doing with the wet kit. Its the stupid people that plumb a 150 shot into their intake elbow and dont do anything else that complain about how unsafe a dry hit. But anything can be unsafe when you dont use it properly...
