Just thought I'd share this...


thanks for the opinions guys and what the shop guy said about my friends car was that there was no backpressure so the exhaust valve couldnt close?? :/ but i already have some ****ty economy muffflers that dump and i hate it there is no load roar when i get on it

Somebody at a repair facility actually said this? That shop should be shut down.

I wonder how the exhaust valves on race cars with open headers close.....

Maybe that is the trick in Pro Stock, never let the exhaust valve close...

Stupid people really piss me off.

I did the valve delete a few months back and picked up 8 tenths in the quarter... and shaved another pound worth off the front of the car where it matters. I get better mpg also without any valves..

That makes sense, less weight in the valve train. I wonder why I never thought of that.....

I'm just going to go ahead and do the engine delete. I can't think of a quicker way to get rid of 500 pounds.

well someone told me that without the engine the car wont move..i dont know what they were thinking...but I did drain all the motor oil out of my car..that was worth a few pounds. It runs better than ever
