Keep a cassette tape of Marky Mark's "Good Vibrations" to counter the bad vibrations.

I thought I had a similar problem- a vibration in the rear right. hard to remember, this was yeeears ago. I have yet to see if the car still has this vibro in the rear right. I will be getting my car out of the garage, its been sitting for over a year easy.

I checked my lower control arms, I checked the frame, I think I checked the ujoints in the driveshaft.. I replaced the rims since then.. well see....

not to hijack your thread, just sayin...

Usually the annoyingly vibrating shifter is a sign but doesn't always mean bad bearings I guess. Every T5 that I've owned that had a vibrating shifter handle had old, worn bearings.

Plus one.
I had the same problem ,bad u joint & cracked driveshaft.
Replace both ,no problems now.

alright. i am going to order an aluminum driveshaft and see if that helps, and if it doesnt it must be my #5 main or the tranny bearings...i just want to rule everything else out first
