Holley Systemax Heads
I just picked up a Holley Systemax 2 intake bnib for $450 and I wanted to do the Holley H/C/I package, but since I already acquired the intake so cheap I obviously won't buy the whole set up. So I got 2 offers on new Systemax 2 heads, one for 650 but it needs half a set of valves/springs, and the other is $775 and is ready to bolt on. Which set should I buy? Or should I just wait and save my money for a set of trick flow heads? Are Holley Systemax 2 heads comparable to the twisted wedges? Also my car is stock other than exhaust and a CAI if that makes any difference.

That's kind of what I was wondering its all the same stuff that came in the kit that I am looking at, but if it isn't very good or could be disappointing I would rather just wait and get twedges later on.

I dont know about you but if I had to replace the springs and valves I would do all of them at the same time. I would keep saving for tf's but that is just me. If your going to go through the trouble...trick flow, canfield, or afr would be my only option that I go with.

There are two size Holley systemax 2 heads out there and they were both produced by Brodix so they are decent heads but out of the box stock vs stock I don't think they out flow tfs heads but for $750 complete you can't beat it. There are gt40 x heads going for that much and they're no where near the numbers of the holleys and such.

ehh well I just picked up the ones that need valves and spring for 625 to my door. So I guess I will be seeing what kind performance they make.
