quarter window weather stripping

the weather stipping on the top portion of my quarter window is pushing away from the car. And it seems like the quarter window doesn't seem 100% flush on top either. Is there any particular way to replace the weather stripping here. It doesn't look like fun.

You have to replace the entire glass. Not cheap and that's if you can find them.

Yours is a hatch so it's easier to find than for a coupe.

replace the glass? Why there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, or to that extent.

It's all one piece...

89Domindart... what cover? I haven't heard of this. My car could use something right there to make it look better.

There is no weather stripping. The rubber is molded to the window and it is one big piece. Even if you got the old stuff off, you would have to have new rubber molded onto the window. It is not replaceable unless you replace the whole window.

The stuff in the link above is just a plastic cover that glues over the molding...barf.

The description for those covers say to use a super strong 3M weld... never heard of it.

ya you can get covers but they need to be glued or something over the existing molding.

the molding on the windows is a part of the window like ryan says.

I found some windows on ebay I think. it will cost you 400 or so, at least thats what I paid I think

ive seen some guys that sand and paint the existing molding, I tried it but had shitty results. therfore, .......bought the new windows. I didnt want covers either....but hey, the covers are probably pretty cool....
