Car Won't Idle


Been awhile guys but I'm having issues with my car, it runs but won't idle and dumps fuel like crazy no matter what we do. Changed every sensor went through 3 different mass air meters and injectors changed computers and engine wiring harness but not the dash/firewall harness yet. Can anyone help with this I don't wanna carb it but it is looking that way. Thanks

Set right now at 42 running 24# injectors

You sig says 30 injectors and now you have 24? Did you swap or recall the MAF sensor to match the 24 injectors?
Check you FPR vac line and see if fuel is leaking by.

Yeah we switched injectors and mass airs and you can smell the gas when its trying to idle

We ran the 24s at 36 and it was to lean so we went to 42 , it runs great but when it hunts for that idle it's screwed

Disconnected MSD box put stock coil back on idling at 900 :-)

Step number one is always scan for codes even if there is no check engine light on. As you found out the hard way, throwing random parts and sensors at a problem never works and is usually very costly. A carburetor is never the answer either. What will you do when the car runs like shit after you put a carb on? Switch back to EFI?

No it wasn't lean at 36lbs. I would like to know why you think that. I can tell you that 42lbs is high though.

Let me guess, the MSD box was mounted under the hood in the engine compartment?
