okay got some questions guys????
1. okay so i was mess around under my car last night and saw that there was a pump not connected to the belt i believe its the smog pump (not sure) its right below the alternator
2. im posting pics of both but what is this that has all the vaccume lines to it |

Yeah the first one is the smog pump I'd just leave it like it is don't know about 2nd one I'm on my blackberry and can't make out the pic real well

First one is the smog pump, it's bypassed already by use of a smaller belt which is the way to do it. Now unbolt it and plug the ports that run to the back of both heads.
With that smog pump disabled, make sure you don't have the stock h pipe with stock cats or it'll over heat and clog up on you unless they've been gutted. The second pic is of the egr solenoid which is bolted to your pas shock tower. It's for the egr valve that's bolted to the back of your egr spacer between the throttlebody and upper intake. You can yank it if you don't plan on running your egr and from that picture looks like it's missing the cap and filter so i'd ditch it and buy a block off plate to remove that egr valve as well. |

okay now with the smog pump outta there i need to get rid of my stock exhaust from the headers back. and how would i plug the ports???
and #2 can you give me a basic run down on how the egr solenoid works and all what happens if i delete it ect... it would be very helpful to me |

That valve has two vac lines on it, one is attached to the manifold for the vac source and the other runs to the EGR to open and close it. If you disconnect that valve, remove and plug those lines so you don't get a vac leak.

okay ill probably leave it its like $20 to replace.... now with the smog pump how do i plug up the holes and do i have to change the exhaust from the headers back

You'll have to change the midpipe if you have cats.
