Darrell plz read
you said to count the splines on my input shaft. i counted 24 so what year range is my transmission in again? thanks.

one will be 24 spline... the other can be either 24 (64-69 tranny) or 26 (70+ tranny) 70+ Tranny is a must if you are going to use a trans brake, and a hardened imput shaft.

omg ok let me go count them i will do it now and post result. I wont be using a trans brake but i do want to get a hardened input shaft to just have the strength.
