New heads or new edge

I have about 1500 to spend and I found a 2002 GT that I really like and I could put the money down on it and finance the rest. Now the money was gonna go towards a set of heads for my 90 gt but I'm tired of driving old wore out vehicles and want a stang to drive while my 5.0 is down getting mods. What would you guys do. Here's the link to the 2002 gt. And how do I post a poll?

I can't see the link because I'm at work. But after playing with both 5.0s, 5.8s and 4.6s I have grown pretty fond of the 4.6. I would say go for the car.

It's just a stock white 2002 gt. I'm not necesarily worried about how fast it is. As long as it looks, sounds, runs good and the a/c works.

why...

no more drugs for you!

New edge, unless you have a built motor/FI setup and want to be a 'sleeper'!

Fox's and s197's for looks and fun; hands down.

New edge.... I ask again... why??

Why not? I can't afford a sn197 and I'm not really a big fan of them anyways. If I could get anything I want I'd be rollin in a terminator. And you're not takin the drugs!!!

I actually like the looks of the new-edge better than the sn197..

If your planning on keeping the fox and bulding it, I would pick up a beater car...Im rocking a '98 s10 w/a 4 cylie while the fox is down. I save gas, and I dont have a car payment so all the extra money goes into the fox...

Its all a matter of opinion. Go drive the car and see if you like it. You will be able to make your own decision after you test drive a few cars.

I got a beater, an 89 f150, that's what I'm trying to get away from. I actually have 2 foxes, one plans for a street/strip car and the other a bracket car. I want something with nice interior and air conditioning. I do like not having a car payment though like you said I can put lots of money in the 5.0 And +1 on the looks of new edge>sn197

I def like the 02 gt. I'm gonna go check it out. I was really wantin some heads for my 90 gt. If I spend the money on a down payment it'll postpone the fox going fast . I guess it just comes down to my wallet.

What is a new edge? I would get rid or the bracket car. Your street/strip car can be used as a bracket car. Then dump all that money into the street/strip car. Sell the truck and by the newer mustang.

New edge is the 99-04 version of the sn95. I like the idea of selling the bracket car but I couldn't get much for it. It's a pretty rough 81 roller. And I need the truck.

yuck without a built motor and spray or a forced induction setup you will be in the 13/14's for life in the quarter.. heavier and slower platform to start from then with a fox

i say go for the 2002 gt because then you can leave it bone stock and not have issues to deal with....its nice to have something that runs good and you can rely on....and the ac helps too....get that and just leave it stock for your dd....and sell the f150....
