Rod and Main cap torque questions

I just got my engine back and assembling it and my haynes manual says the ending torque on the rod caps are 36 ftlbs and 85 ftlb on the mains i got stock bolts. Ive read that the mains are to be at 60-70ftlbs and the rods are to be 24 ftlbs which does seem a bit light to me....

LMK
thanks

60-70 ft/lbs on the mains and 24 ft/lbs on the rods is correct if you are using stock hardware. More torque on them is going to do more harm than good.
