Can the trim on the side windows be replaced (not covered) or do you have to replace the whole window.

I have seen replacement trim in mustang mags but I don't about the quality. I have also seen quarter windows for notches....check your local pick'n'pull you might be able to find a nice pair of quarter windows....just tell them you wanted to take the trim off but it wont seperate so you'll buy the whole window if the price is right....worked for me...

In Most cases you have to replace the windows, The glass is a twopiece heat molded and in most cases tempered sheet of glass. There are two pieces of tempered glass that are heatformed with the rubber for the windows. Now depending on weather its a hatchback or coupe is going to determin the price of the glass. I know that for a brandnew hatchback window was around 500 bucks.
