AFM quick kit II
What do you guys think of this anderson top end kit? I have prety much all the bolt ons i will need to buy injectors, MAF, and a TB to go along with it. That is a damn good price and I will have a lot of dyno time to tune it just right...maybe by the end of the summer put a little nitrous to it.

for sure....i mean...i love the idea of high rpm's. I am going to freshen up the bottom end of my engine while im in there...I think it should be a pretty nasty little 302

That does seam like a real reasonable price. Especially with a worked bottom end, you should be extremely happy.

seems like a good kit if you clean up that intake mani, my friend bought one and had to spend alot of time cleaning up all the casting flash inside of it, other than that im too cheap to buy new heads

Here is what happens when you buy cheap rocker arms.

i was wondering about that company name....ill switch out rockers. the intake will be fine i will end up selling the intake and the rockers to make a little money back when i have enough for the pro flow xt by edelbrock

Sounds like money being wasted to me. Why don't you just buy a Trick Flow kit or better yet, build your own kit?

because i dont think i could piece together a kit for that price. trick flow top end kits dont make the power that the AFM kit does

I made 326rwhp at about 5900 rpm with the Trick Flow K514-360-350 kit and the TFS-51402001 cam in place of the TFS-51402000 cam that comes in the kit. The AFM kit is showing 321rwhp. If you piece something together and have a cam ground for your combination then you could see 340+.

Don't know, like I said before I made about 326rwhp with that set up. If I did it again, I'd probably go with the 190cc as cast head or the CNC185 head and a Jay Allen custom grind.
