i may be overthinking on this


but I bolted down my shifter to the tranny . I think its pretty tight, but I want to be sure that its okay and no water will get up in there. theres no liquid gasket or anything on the seal. should I be using it? its hard to get up in there with the console around installed. please say its okay as long as its bolted down tight

It will be OK. unless you plan on driving thru water as high as the shifter

You didn't use a bead of silicone? You probably won't have any issues either way.

i always used blue rtv just to give it a good seal..but i'm sure it will be fine

nope, no seal, just tightend it down. kinda hard to get to when the console is in the way
