seat problem

hey guys, so today i noticed my seat was moving around a little more than i like it to on the left side rear bolt. so i got home and looked at it, thinking the bolt was loose or broken at worse. well my whole floor is loose... what am i looking at to fix this? i really dont want it to be flexing like that, things are going to get weak and break.

Look under the car and see how bad the floor is torn. Easy fix with a welder.

ok well, the floor board is not torn. it is moving by the rocker panel. so idk if maybe its just a tack weld or something. but the floor is not torn.

alright, i got some bad news!! the floor pan is torn, i just could to see it, and its not really that large thats why i couldnt find it before. i took my seat out today, and i have a 4" tear in the floor board. the tack welds that hold the floor to the rocker are also broke, tommorrow im going to a local welding shop and having them weld it back together, and possibly sub frame connectors. from there i will build my own seat brackets to strengthen the floor pan where it tore before.

Once you put good frame connectors on you won't have to worry about the floor pan tearing again. Right now your floor pans are your frame connectors which is why it tore. This is common in fox body Mustangs.

and a note on the subframe connectors, makes sure you get fell length weld in, or even threw the floor type
