MSD problem

I hooked up an msd unit, and everything runs fine,
However I have no tack, nor do I know where to hook the wire up to.
My car was converted from efi to carb and I have no idea what the tack lead is.
Does anyone know what colour this is or what side of the engine bay it comes out of.
I have an 84 efi swapped to a carb.
thanks

you want to hook your msd box to your stock gauge cluster?

why dont you just get a decent tach, the stock ones are not very accurate, mine was off like 700 rpms

the old one will still work, the new tack pulls the signal from the coil wire, which i believe is green with a yellow stripe?

i looked in the book and yes it says it is green with yellow, however it was an 84 that for some reason came fuel injected, and the colours codes don't match the car
