I would say no. You will need a new line.

yeah im goign to get a new line eventually, for nwo i had to cut it in two palce and patch it using rubber hose and clamp, I cant access the whole thing without a lift, and my budget doenst permit it at this time. Can I do that as a temp fix?

If you do that. Make sure you get the high pressure gas hose as regular gas line won't hold. The high pressure gas hose looks the same but has a stiff plastic liner.

Damn that thing is rusted..

Not sure about the barb fitting. Depends on the amount of pressure going through it.. after all it did make the actual pressure fitting leak..

If it is a return line, it would have more fuel going thru it/more pressure at LOW RPM (less fuel used, more returned to tank) since the pump runs at a constant speed...

2 screw clamps and FI hose, it will hold

just go to napa and by a new quick connector and borrow the tool to put it on,15 mins the most on ur bk in the drive way or you can cut it off and get a steal barb that jams in the line and on the other end it take a hose
