What cylinder heads do you like?

On a 408w running 10.5:1 compression with a 60cc chamber carburated, which heads do you like of these only? No trickflows becasue I need to retain stockish exhaust port height. This motor is for my FFR cobra kit car

I'm not sure about the Pro Comp junk or the Brodix heads but everything else you have listed has raised exhaust ports which by the sounds of your post is unusable for you....

Really, AFR 185's are raised too? Somehow i thought that they are stock height. Isn't only high ports and R with raised exhaust, all other TFS stock height?

The heads I have are the 206cc R heads which are raised
.750. If im correct he AFR is only raised .125 which will work fine and the canfield is raised .400 which is a push but could finagle the header to work.

I don't know if the 185s are raised, but they have no business being on a 408. Most of the heads on the market have raised or altered exhaust ports. Its not a big deal at all.

The R heads are raised .500. High Ports are raised .750. Canfields are raised .400. AFR 205s are raised .125 and the 225s are raised .375. All of which are really insignificant if you think about it. If worst comes to worst, build a set of headers or have a custom set made.

The issue is if they are raised too must the side pipes will not line up correctly. Levy racing will make a customer header with the side pipes for the trick flow r heads but he want $4000 for the complete set of headers and side pipes. There is enough adjustment to perfectly line up up to a .400 raised port. What do you think of the afr 205?

Are the headers separate from the side pipes? If so just have a set of headers made. $4000 for headers and side pipes is ridiculous unless everything is ceramic coated.

not bad at all for some heads that cheap....obviously it could have gone faster with some better hooking up considering the trap speed...
