It really wasn't that hard...it did take about 4 hours because someone had painted it numerous times before and I decided I wanted to strip all the old paint off and start fresh.
I just got some paint stripper and a pressure washer and went to town

Wow... I usually hate on the fox bodys and when I first saw them I thought: "Who even bought those when they were new?"

But after seeing your incredibly clean pics, I can say I understand a little better now...

Are you talking about the piece that says "5.0 Ford HO"?
If so...I repainted mine...both the black and silver. I just took painters tape and masked off the whole plaque and then took an exacto knife and cut out the black parts...then I did it in reverse for the silver
