8.8 R&r...

Hey guys, just thought I'd share this with you. Started today after work and finished up just a few minutes ago. I'll post pictures of the new rear-end and install once I get it back from Strange.

I didn't see the sense in making a new thread so I'll just add updates here until the car is up and running...
The passenger seat is going in once I get it out of my D.D. The harnesses will go in the same time as the other seat.

33-spline axels, 4.10 gear, spool, c-clip eliminator kit, welded tubes to center section, and whatever bearings/seals that go along with it.

$1400, as soon as I get the rear-end back and this god-damn fuel issue figured out!

Yeah I'm planning on running a 26x8.5x15... I noticed that too, I'll have to figure something out. If you're local I'll pm you when I get the rear-end back and we'll figure something out.

So, with the rear-end out I would like to upgrade my controll arms from the GRIPP ones, to something like UPR adjustables.... I am currently in the possition to only purchase either Upper's or Lower's. The question being, what would I benefit from more or do they only work best when both are installed(upper/lower)? Also, when adjusted what are they controlling?
IE: if my car hooks but pulls to the right would I adjust the controll arms to straighten the car out after the launch?
Are they for how the car squats when launching?
~ Thank you

Get some double adjustable uppers. Get the Team Z Motorsports upper kit.

An anti roll bar will adjust the car going left or right. You can make adjustments with the upper arms too but I like to install them with zero preload and use an anti roll device to keep the car straight.

Squating is bad.

If you want to fix that tire rub problem just rotate the tail pipes a bit in the mufflers. No need to put dents in the tail pipes.

I was begining to wonder if no liked me, lmao. Ok so rear uppers are the way to go until I get the perches for the coilovers welded on. With this anti-roll bar, is that something that bolts in or welds in? Would you also recommend a Team Z anti-roll bar? and are they also double adjustable? Also are the spherical buschings worth the money? Thanks for you input I appreciate it.

I'll be picking up my rear end tomorrow and I just was wondering if anyone has experience with UPR adjustable controll arms? Will a spherical bearing work with the stock style controll arm? Also has anyone installed those battle box reinforcements? I'm wondering if their a bolt in or weld in project? Thanks and I'll be posting pictures after I pick it up...
