Trick Flow Intake Problems...
I just put the upper and lower Trick Flow streetburner intake on my 92 mustang along with 24lb injectors, MAF sensor calibrated to the injectors, 255 fuel pump and a 70mm throttle body and EGR plate...and my problem is that there is a whistling at idle and it almost seems like i lost power. so do i need a tune or what?

a vacuum leak could cause you to loose power....using the carb cleaner to spray around different areas where there could possibly be a leak lets you know when you find it because the engine will rev a lil

No you don't need a special tune. The whistling is either a vacuum leak or the throttle body. The throttle body whistle is harmless. Vacuum leaks can cost you power. Do the carb cleaner trick mentioned above. Make sure everything is hooked up correctly. Are the fuel injectors plugged in to the proper wires? Did you have the distributor out?

Did you phase the rotor when you put the distributor back in? The distributor has to point to #1 on the cap when you install it. That is what triggers the injectors.

^ with the engine running spray carb cleaner on anything that could possibly be leaking if the engine revs up you've found a vac leak, altho aftermarket cai, filter, throttle body, etc will whistle it's normal

Spray were the lower intake manifold meets the block, were the upper meets the lower manifold. Between the upper and the heads. By the tb were it meets the upper. All of these can cause a vacuum leak.

My brother in laws setup is the same as yours - he bought a Professional Products TB when we did his TFS setup, and it whistles all day long...
