Absolutely not. More like 300hp........if its even an accurate description. If he is lying about the horsepower I'm sure he is lying about other things as well.

if think 300 is even a stretch....if by gt heads you mean the e7s.....then you might have 230 to the wheels on a good day

I was refering to flywheel horsepower, not wheel horsepower. I like to compare flywheel numbers.

The parts listed will not support 425hp naturally aspirated. Even in ported form.

- Ask to see reciepts and flow numbers on the "ported" heads.

- Ask if the intake has been ported at and if it has, all an reciepts and flow data for that as well.

- Ask how he determinted the compression ratio. Ask specifics like head gasket bore diameter, head gasket thickness, distance between the deck surface and the piston, what brand of pistons (part number?), piston dome or dish volume, valve relief volume and chamber volume.

- Ask for camshaft specs

People lie

some guy sold his new edge GT and told the guy buying it that it had forged stuff, so the buyer did mods that would be supported by the built bottom end, and he blew some shit up. Turns out the seller lied.

Ask QMSolutions. He's fixing the damn thing for him.

i get 15-20... i doubt many camaros or firebirds with v8's and 4.10 gears get much more than that... if what you want is gas mileage, then you'd probly get a v6?

Then why are you worrying about gas mileage?

Decent mileage with a V8 is possible. Its not uncommon to get 25mpg on the highway with a Mustang. I'm sure Camaros and Firebirds are comparable.
