getting it ready
here are some pics of the engine and engine bay getting smooth...what a pain in the rear.let me know what ya think. going to acufab
(elkridge, MD) to get the cage put in an then it is crunch time.

Looking good. Be careful with those cheap rockers. They are known for failing.

i have built many motors and used them rockers and everything i have own ...never had a problem. the set up i am doing is a probe industries rotating assy did all the block work myself. just had it decked and line honed. have the ford anderson motorsports cam (565 lift). main girdle and valley girdle. patroit performance heads with upgraded springs. 1.6 rollor rockers air gap intake.

![]() If you google it you can find alot of people that have had failures with these rocker arms. Its been discussed on this site in the past as well. As always, you get what you pay for.

wow!, ya that would suck..haha goes to show you if you buy cheap stuff now your just eventually spending more money in the long run because youll have to replace them with the good stuff anyways.

In Scorpions defense, I've heard their machining process has improved and their newer rockers are much better than their old rockers. I also here their customer service is great and they stand behind their products which are 100% USA made in Florida. Still makes me very cautious after seeing alot of broken rockers.
