That's a pretty broad question I guess the first question I have for you is how much cash do you have? Once you answer that then you will probably get several answers. Posting a pic of your stang then askin what mods do you suggest is opening a can of worms. It's all about the $$$$$ you want to spend!!!! TELL US!!!!! Give more info!!!!

For starter mods, get some gears, a shifter, cold air intake, thottle body, pullies, headers, mid-pipe, and catback. Those should all give you about 30whp. That's 30whp with minor boltons. If you want to go get in the engine, you can change you heads, intake, and cam for some pretty significant gains in the long run.

Any questiosn feel free to ask...

full exhaust will give you probobly bout 30hp (stock their fricken restrictive) intake system.. gears ... shifter pullies.. dont do throttle body.. you can bolt on about 45 rwhp for about 1grand and then make the power most useful for another 700.. so for 2 grand you can make that thing a new car!! lol

welcome to MM. First what is your budget and what is your goal? You can use the search option to look for what to start with cause I believe there is a thread that mentions what the best bolt ons to start off with are and where to get them at a resonable price. But, CAI, Pullies, Long Tubes, Cat Back, H or X, and Gears, would be a good start

I see you own a 89' do you have an specific suggestions regarding the flowmaster?

As to the other replies I'm not even quite sure what I'm lookin' at, just something that will give it a bit more torque.

I'm impressed with this forum, you guys seem to know what your talking about.

Glass pack

It's all what you want.

I have a 89 and I ran Summit Long Tube Headers, H-pipe, Cat-go hi performance cats, and dual Glass packs.

I love it. It is not loud, you would think it is, but it sure makes for a nice sound.

That is all of the mods I have done, I am going to get "twist 2 go" to install some 4:10 gears after Uncle Sam gives me a refund. I don't have extra cash to put into my car, so that is probably all I am going to do. I may drop a 351 in it later, that is cheaper than trying to nurse a 302 for what I would want, but time will tell. If I drop a 351 I will also have to buy new headers, and so that is a concern as well.

If I were you, Long Tube headers, H-Pipe, hi-performance cats, and whatever muffer you desire, gears, and cold air intake would be the way to go. I had a shop fabricate my entire exhaust system, from headers back, I had alredy purchased the cats and mufflers, and they charged me $400, which was a pretty good deal considering the work they did.

Hey, ur the one that PMed me. I PMd back. Im located in smyrna ga 30080. I would suggest flowmaster only cause I know theyre popular and work well. And theyre pretty affordable. I have 3 chamber but 2 would be what you want probly. Its a lowder sound and offers more flow I think.. But I really dont know much about it. I have a stock H pipe I think and just 3 chamb flows.

Alright thanks for the feedback guys, I'm getting;
cold air intake
gears
pro shifter
flowmaster 40 series

I have a couple things to fix like the lock in the center console and the push up lock on the driver side door but other than that, I'm good to go!

Thanks again.

just know that the flowmasters wont do anything but change the tone a bit. The mid pipe is what does the most
