installed the msd today...

So.... i mounted the 6al it took about 5 hours lol everything is perfect turned out just the way i wanted it no wires exposed tucked under the cai good spot i think ... made a bracket for it ill put pics up later i can feel more responsive touch now deffinatly i also bumped up my timing to 12* im liking the way its running now deffinatly.

I made a decision to build another motor today and get another trans and then whenim ready just do it all in a weekend swap everything out....

but like i said ill post pics soon wheni get home in a few hours

I know I love my MSD 6AL. Wished they would of had the 6AL2 out when I purchased mine. I have mine mounted over in the front passenger side fender also. Right where the factory air breather used to be.

i have mine where the battery used to be, on the side wall....BUT im going to remove it and place inside cabin next to center console...(when i get home)

msd (might suddenly die) haha the 6al is nice but they tend to live short lives.. hell my turbo car no longer has one lol

well 5 hrs with a lunch break and a freaking 1 part getter i had to pick up alot of wire and some shit so it took awhile thats not just work time prob like 3 hours but the mounting took the longest so yeah
