Are you spraying it now? I find it hard to believe you are running those numbers with a car that is essentially "stock" unless it is gutted. I don't think I've ever seen a Mustang that stock get out of the 13s.

No i am not spraying the car, that is all motor. The car has full interior. It is not gutted. Only thing that is not on the car is the inner fenders. I turn the hell out of it and leave around 5500-6000rpms. And now you've seen a nearly stock mustang break the 12s

Any kind of computer add on like an extender or chip? You are getting every ounce of power out of it, that's for sure.

No computer work or chip just stock. I was shocked too. I thought it would run low to mid 13s but it busted the 12s and i was f**kin freakin out when it done that cuz not many people have done that with stock components. Really what i think it boils done to is all the suspension work and the et streets the car hooks and goes and like i said before i turn the piss out of that engine.LOL

Ya id like to know which twisted heads you guys suggest. The cnc ported twisted heads are expensive i know that. Well over the 185 afr's arent they? I was on the afr ban wagon as well. Probably mostly cause of the advertising. I dont know which is better. Ive never seen a head to head comparison. If somebody has a set of twisted and a set of afr 185's and an engine dyno id love to see the charts from both dyno runs. somebody needs to send this in to Muscle Mustangs and Fast Ford's mad and see if they will do this test in one of their monthly issues. But ya id like to know which twisted heads would work best. cnc's? are they necessary? or just regular twisted?

I have heard the phrase mentioned before "Factory Freak". But in his case, he has some light mod work, so the factory part doesn't completely apply I guess. On the original post. I have heard some good things about the Trickflow Fast as Cast heads. I don't have any real world experience with them, just hear say from other gear heads and Cam Master Jay.

I ran bunch of 12.94's in my 91gt before I put the turbo on etc.. it was a very consistent 13.0 car. full interior, stock engine/heads etc, shortie headers, or xpipe, mac/dumps, pro5.0 shifter, centerforce df clutch, tfs street intake, 70mm tb, 75mm prom maf, aeromotive afpr, tfs stage 1 cam, 3.73 gears, mt et dr's, weld wheels. Sound deadener removed from under the carpet in the hatch area, front swaybar removed, qa1 tubular k, energy poly engine mounts, fiberglass hood, egr, tad/tab, removed, still had ac and cruise. Oh and factory five uppers/lowers It weighted in at 3100lbs with me in it and I daily drove it for four years up until the end of summer when I took off the road and did teh turbo setup. I had no tune or extender either

That's a pretty damn good 60 foot for what is done to the car. You are getting everything out of it. You can drive, that's for sure.

The factory rev limiter cuts fuel out at 6250 rpm.

I have a 89 mustang that still has the 302 ho that came in it. the car has a complete roll cage, 410 gears with a spoll, long tube headers. c4 with trans brake, victor high rise intake and wet shot of n20. Im spraying 200 out the whole.

60ft 1.4
8th 7.1 @ 96mph so It can be done with a stock motor

That isn't even an apples to apples comparison. You are talking about a car that is basically a race car with an engine that is somewhat stock and is seeing 200hp of nitrous. That is in no way similar to a basically stock Mustang with no nitrous that is running 12.80s (8.15ish for you 1/8 mile people).

Thanks, i've put alot of hard work into this car its nice to be complimented every once and a while. But i want a set of heads just couldn't afford them. And i still like the afrs cause i've seen them perform at the track and i haven't seen the trickflows perform. What vavles are in the trick flow heads and how much lift are the springs good for?
