coolent hoses


alright so im in the process of removing my heater core (pain in the ass).im finally to the point of removing it but i need to get the coolant hoses off and they wont seem to budge, just wondering if anyone has any tricks to this or do i have to just pull the hell out of it..

wouldn't that just make it harder? cant see them being easy to replace..

you're trying to get the ones from the lower intake to the firewall off? Just cut them and yank them off the intake like 93 hatch said. You'll run a bypass hose after u get those off. It's actually really easy. took me like 5-10 minutes maybe

cut them short then split them up the middle

don't cut them if you plann to reuse. hook shape a coat hanger break them free then pull.

You don't work on cars much do you? Not to be rude but removing the heater hoses is not complicated. Use a pliers and twist them at the heater core. When you get them broke loose, pull them off. Its that easy. The heater core is relatively easy too. Pull the dash out and R&R the heater core. Install the dash and your done. Its a 2 hour job.

2 hours is rollin, but yes is your reusing pliers, twist, remove
