I run an auto but I have heard good things on the king cobra....and not so good on spec... You may need to change your ecu when you swap trannies or you may be able to have what needs to be done in the tune....not sure on that maybe someone else that has done the swap can tell you

you know how you have to push the clutch to the floor to start a manual car? or the car has to be in park on an auto for it to start? that switch you might have to bypass

bypassing the neutral safety switch can be done a couple ways. Either pull the switch out of your aod and compress the button with a brass cap. Or you can wire it open. I did the button on my 91

hmmm...i've never had a problem with spec. i did however have a brand new king cobra blow up on me. i wasn't even getting on it, just pressed the clutch to put it neutral and it came unglued. the bell housing was full of clutch plate pieces.
