90 mustang 5.0 lx hatch

replacing throwout bearing retainer on t5
Last month the throwout bearing went out in my 5.0, I just put a spec stage 1 kit in it and im getting ready to replace the bearing retainer with a steel one I got from summit. Anyone ever done this before?
